High Court finds immigration detention unlawful

The High Court has found the detention of a young Afghan man over 21 days in early 2012 was unlawful and ordered the Home Office damages of £21,250. The claimant was represented by Jed Pennington of Bhatt Murphy and Mark Henderson of Doughty Street Chambers.
