We launched our Summer Placement Scheme in 2012 with the aim of offering paid work placements to students who cannot afford to undertake unpaid work experience or who are from under-represented groups within the legal profession.
We know from our own experience as recruiters that gaining relevant experience can make a crucial difference to a candidate’s ability to secure a training contract.
Feedback from past participants in the scheme can be read here.
In addition to our summer placement scheme for undergraduates, we also work with the Hackney Schools Inspire! programme to offer work placements to secondary school students in our local area.
We do not offer ad-hoc work experience or internships outside of our summer placement scheme and the Hackney Schools Inspire! programme.
We are now in the process of shortlisting applicants and we will contact candidates we wish to interview by the end of April. We are very grateful to all of the applicants who have taken the trouble to apply for the scheme.
